All-Day Auction

The Potomac Valley Aquarium Society offers one of its famous all-day auctions on the last day of the convention. Open to conventioneers, and non-conventioneers, the auction often brings in 1000+ items and attracts buyers and sellers from around the Washington metro region and beyond. Pre-registration for sellers is strongly suggested. You will be asked if you intend to sell at convention registration and asked to pre-register then.

Auction registration for sellers begins at 8:00 AM and ends at noon, and the auction starts at 10:00 AM sharp and ends when all lots are sold. Buyers are welcome all day!

PVAS retains the sale price of any items that sell for $1 or $2, and 30% of all lots over $2.

Sellers can pre-register at the convention hotel during registration hours, or by emailing their name, address, phone and email address to: auction@catfish2010.com, After registering, a sellers sheet and sticker template will be emailed out.
